Optimize and Monetize - learn how
Well, I finally broke down and updated the site. I’ve pulled together all my various notes from the past 5+ years of online marketing and SEO work, and posted pages here. Everything you’ll need to learn how to effectively build a simple website, get ads on it and generate revenue is in those pages. Start learning here I’m not shattering any myths or re-inventing any wheels - what I am doing is making this available to readers so they can do what I personally am doing. Many folks will be skeptical, and that’s fine.
If you’re wondering what’s in it for me, well, there are a couple of things:
1 - I get to give back - I was new once, and folks helped me learn - it’s my turn to help others
2 - I get the potential to generate revenue from the content - plain and simple I’ll make money from visitors coming to the site.
So, if you want to talk about Google buying YouTube, or MSN being slow to the game, or the latest property bought by someone, you’re out of luck. If you want to learn how to turn a topic you enjoy into a steady monthly income, read on. Some of you will do better than you ever expected. Some of you will fail miserably. If you read the info here, though, and use it to help you learn and implement a sound plan, you’ll succeed.
It all starts with you being willing to manage two things:
1 - the work it’ll take to get there
2 - the patience needed to stay the course Success will NOT come overnight - despite what others may tell you.
